Sigmund K. Harzfeld was a Philadelphia coin dealer in the 1870's that you don't hear a lot about these days.
His series of medals/tokens was struck by local Philadelphia die sinker William H. Key.

I'm not an expert or numismatic professional. Without asking a thousand novice questions, I know my question must have already been asked and answered here somewhere before. 9 times out of 10, I can find the answers to my questions by searching. I learn better by doing my own research without always bothering the guys here.
I came across this old interesting thread.

I think I have a rare one here. It’s unlisted to my best knowledge.
Mine is a 3 cent piece. Recent sales (the first sales I’ve seen after years of looking) of the $1.00, Half dollar, and 10 cent pieces were strong.
Great tokens!
The Merriam token is gorgeous. I wonder what it's worth today vs. 10 years ago!
One of around 50 struck.

I had this and didn't know what it was for years.

I have this little “odd” thing…..
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
