I don't see LIMITED anywhere on the Mint site. My feeling is that it might be limited to the number
of folders that they had made up for 2012, not for the coins included.

PS: I too got the email but did not see where it mentions anything about "LIMITED" in the email.

No thanks. I already wasted my $19.95 per set on 8 of them hoping to get one of the Silver Kennedy's!

BTW, these were released on 3/13/2012 so any possibility of First Strike™ passed on 4/13/2012. I think the Mint is simply sending out SPAM to get more sold.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

  • What I dont understand is why people went and bought them sets in hopes for the "SILVER" kennedy.... As soon as the silver set is released you can make all the "error" packing sets you want

This is really a nobrainer in that getting the Silver Kennedy in the Birth Year sets afforded purchasers the opportunity to procure that Silver Kennedy at Clad Proof Pricing instead of waiting to pay $59+ dollars for a Silver Proof Set.
