I pulled one of those (a VAM-5 IIRC in about AU50) out of my local dealer's circulated morgans, and as soon as I handed it to him, he figured I'd found something. I admitted it, but then told him that there were two others still in there.
Sincerely,

Reminds me of the time someone sold me some Morgans. Most of them decent UNC's 62 or 63's I'd say. Nothing special expect the 1899-O Micro O. Of course it wasn't so special as it was the only coin out of the bunch that had been worn down to VF and then polished to a mirror finish.
It's VAM 3. Besides being flush with the top of the O, the diagonal piece of metal inside the O is closer to the top of the opening than the bottom. In VAM 4 it's closer to the bottom.

I'm asking as someone who would like to buy at least an MS62 or 63 example of one.
Here's a copy/paste brief description and a link to Vamworld Top 100 for more details.

awesome junk pile find.
nearly a you-suck
Might want to try a quick soak in acetone to remove some of that blue crud on the reverse though

nah, not the v3 or 3a
i sold one not too long ago and the S under the O is very very thin, even when circulated
the one in the images here is quite wide and fat, but a fun find
