1 card worth $1,500 to $2,000; which auction house are you using?
I have one card worth $1,500 to $2,000. Which auction house would you use? (excluding REA because they just ended for the year)

List it yourself
(sorry for the outburst, really I would just post it on e-bay. It's a big card, but not outrageous or anything)
On the other hand, if it's a run of the mill, IMO you can use either PWCC or Probstein
If it's a low end for the grade and has obvious flaws, those flaws will be very obvious with PWCC scans. Use Probstein
That is my personal rule of thumb as I use both.
Good Luck
The card is a 1968 Topps 3D Curt Flood PSA 7. I have it listed on Ebay now. Here is the link.

On the OP's card, if it's worth 1500-2000, then list it yourself on Ebay with a BIN of 2000 and Best Offer and see what interest it receives. If you don't want to sell it yourself then choose the fee schedule that brings you in the most money.
I see you do have it listed on Ebay so that is the best way to go. If there's not a lot of interest to a retail customer with your listing then there won't be a lot of retail interest if it's consigned to an Ebay seller for auction.

sweet card Shane.
But I have to agree with KB, your best bet is to sit on it to maximize, if you send it to auction I think you will be disappointed on this card.

And I have to agree that sending it to an auction house is a serious gamble. At this point 90% of the collectors out there are checking ebay auctions on a fairly regular basis. If you send it to an auction house you're taking a real risk that it's going to sell for significantly under what you want. This is especially true because it's kind of a niche card that not everyone wants (or knows the value of)...this isn't a Mantle 1951 Bowman. Even if you got what you wanted, you're consignment fee for a card like that would likely be 15%+.
Leave it up as a bin/bo until you find it a new home. If you're desperate to sell, leave it up as a bin/bo for a few weeks and if no one bites, take your chance with 7/10 day auction. You almost certainly will not do worse than at Memory Lane, Hunt, Heritage...
