Tom Im not sure if you saw the post in the sports talk forum or not but apparently the HOF is missing some of its greatest players, Danny Wuerfel, Tommie Frazier and Brian Bosworth.

Any reason they wouldnt be in? I could understand Bosworth due to all the trouble he caused but Wuerfel not being in is a travesty??

If you are going to base entry into the CHF based on play in college ... those three MUST be in!

I remember watching Charles Alexander (The Great) as a kid. I thought he was the best running back in the country and when Earl Campbell got the Heisman I thought it was a joke. Clearly, Alexander was a better back. Alas, this is why 12 year olds don't get to vote.

Also, in response to the earlier comments, I agree that those players should be in. But, if you notice the players selected this year, Ty Detmer just got elected. Detmer was a Heisman Trophy winner and would also seem to be a slam dunk. He won his award several years before Wuerffel. So, it is just a matter of time before he and Tommie Frazier get in. As for the Boz, who knows? I would have loved to see him go in at the same time as Bo Jackson.

It would have been interesting to see Bosworth's college career without him and his team pumped with steroids. (I will kindly note I am a Kansas State fan.)
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
