Does PSA keep track of the serial numers of the cards they grade?

For example, if I have a card serially numbered 66 out of 100, does PSA make a note that they graded card number 66? That way, if its cracked and resubmitted, they can simply assign the same grade?

I don't know if they do (I doubt it). They would regrade the card if it was cracked out - no telling what happened to it (creased, corner bent, etc.).

No, they don't track cards. They have a hard enough time following instructions on the submission form (e.g., special labeling) and with keeping up with the volume. I'd just wait a little while and then resubmit it if you think it is undergraded.

Some individual collectors track the cards themselves most particularly modern serial numbered rookie cards with an auto and patch. Unsrupulous people tend to pull out the jersey patch and repalce it with something fancier. I have scans of Adrian Peterson and a few others mainstream cards. I wish the manufacturers would scan the card before they pack them out for authenticity sake.
