I received in the mail today a delightful booklet on the 1838-O proof half. Many thanks to Heritage for underwriting & distributing this study. It contains full cover pics of all the known coins and an interesting bit of research on the origins of the coin.

    Bravo Heritage!
It's a great piece of work that will go into my numismatic library.
    When in doubt, don't.

I also received it today, and it is an excellent addition to my library. I also received an excellent US Gold book from them recently, which has been a great resource.

I get my fair share of free auction catalogs, HA the Mag and solicitations but never anything cool. You wouldn't happen to have a like to buy something like that would you?

It says "$20" on it but I have no idea if they are selling them or not. If you are an existing customer I suspect a nice letter would be enough to procure a free copy. Or just wait a couple days and see if it shows up or not. FWIW I am in their "Legacy" club, not sure if that makes a difference or not.
