David Wells is selling a part of his amazing collection....along with Dimitri Young's cards. Lots of great items. The one that caught my attention the most is the Babe Ruth game worn hat that David Wells wore for an inning of a game against the Cleveland Indians and was fined for wearing it. Wells paid 35K for it (not counting his fine) and is going to make a very healthy profit.

I hadn't seen the auction, but I did read the SMR article. Holy cow, those are some amazing cards!! The 1/1 Musial, Rose & Reggie Jackson rookies alone are worth the price of admission.
