13,798 Rices have been submitted and only 46 have gotten a PSA 10, and astounding .3%. No other "modern" superstar comes close to this percentage, other than the Steve Young from the same set (which only has 3 PSA 10's)

Anyone here have one of those Youngs?

Has anyone ever had any experience with the eBay Buyer Protection thing? Wouldn't that cover you if something goes wrong?

Purely based on the feedback score, no prior sports card deals, and the card in question, this thread comes to mind:

    clicky

For all I know, it could be legit. But I'd keep looking.

Run away clockwork, the seller of the Rice is the SAME seller of the Jordan that I linked in my prior post.

And now he has another Jordan listed as well. Different registry number, but I bet it's the same exact scam.

Yeah this is the same guy. His current listings for the Jordan PSA 10 and the Rice PSA 10 have stolen scans. His completed listings have the fake PSA slabs. Is ClockworkAngel the seller?
  • Pretty amazing how one seller can get two DIFFERENT PSA 10 Jordan rookies. Current listing and completed listing.

No I am not the seller. I was thinking of making an offer. I am glad I started this thread if it is a scam...

I just read through that other thread. This is unbelievable. I really was going to make an offer. I am so glad I found this forum, and so glad I started this thread.
Thank you guys for the heads up!

    Shouldn't someone alert eBay?

Looks like both auctions have been taken off, if anyone here alerted eBay, thank you!
