Very nice looking cards -- look much much better than the technical grade. Good, strong colors, very admirable centering, and only minor corner touches.
Nice
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
I'd guess all are about 6 or maybe 6.5 on a couple. That is assuming the backs are not o/c to any extent and that none are "short cuts." Because of factory inconsistency, many 1955 Bowmans are cut shorter than others. These will likely get miscut grades. So, before you submit any for grading, I would check to be sure that they are full length right to left. I don't think any have been trimmed. Also, the centering is not too good, except for the centering on the Hodges. I agree with Mickey71 that PSA is inconsistent in grading these.
Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.
Comments
Backs are very important on these cards as they are susceptible to print marks and off-centeredness.
The Hodges card looks great!! (although somewhat OC t/b)...but it doesn't detract.
