Back in the 1970's I owned what was probably the worst 1839-o Half Dollar. It was problem free but was worn down to a 1 or 2.

I've been looking for one of these for around 3 years. This was the first one that was in reasonably good shape, and at a price I could manage. Found it on ebay last week.

Most importantly, it's just a bit lower grade that the rest of my set, so it matches up relatively well with the others.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, I think I found that one before the 39o too. And as for the '15, that may be a tough row to hoe!
