I'm talking about the VERY old plastic slabs of about the same size as the rattler, circa 1986 I believe, with dot matrix lettering. Were these coins known to be conservatively graded at that time? Just wondering if anyone has experience with these holders and accugrade standards from that era. I have seen one with the coin graded MS 63.5; didn't even know of a coin grading company to grade on half-points!

rest of the details concerning ACG. Their slabs go back into the 1970's.

<< <i>All I will say is that none of them I had graded anywhere near what was on the ACG slab. To include not grading because of a removed mint mark on a key date coin.

I had an ACG 32-S quarter with an added mintmark...maybe it was the one you were missing?
