How Much does the spot on Reverse Detract from Grade ? And would you send it to NCS ? Crossed from

I would not send the coin in. I would buy the highest graded one available in Cameo and sell the one you already see a problem with. I like your questions but you already answered them.

yesterday i bought a Large collection for a collector.
He had spots in all his dansco books at the rear for varieties hand written in.
As I proceeded to go through the 22 albums he brought in the only correct Variety was a beat up 1900 o/cc.
In his Franklin Set had a spot for the 61 DDR but this coin was in the regular spot.
I found it teasing my friend won't this be a great find.
I about s$$t myself when I found it.
Once I get it slabbed I'll give him a bonus check based on it's grade.

It's your money and your experiment. I'd say it's a proof 64 and if you get the haze or spot off, it will still be a Proof 64, imo.
I would not send to NCS.

I would get it taken care of and submit it. Can you post before and after pictures when you get it back from NCS? Do you personally think there will be any remnants of the spot after NCS?
