My uncle brought home a stamp collection off of a jobsite. One of the customers gave it to him because they didnt want it anymore. He gave it to my grandma and I told her I'd try to do some research and see if it was worth anything. I will try to describe the stamps and whats on them to the best of my ability. Most are on an envelope but the peice of envelope they were on was torn off of the envelope itself and the person just hung onto the peice with the stamps on it. Below is a list of all the stamps I can make out.

Thats all for the stamps. There's a few handfuls that I couldnt make out, But thats the majority of them. I just want to apologize ahead of time. I put "cent" after alot of the numbers, and I know thats not what it actually is, Only a small quarter of them are marked 10Cents or 25Cents, and things like that. but by the time I realized I was just about done.

I guess what im looking for is a rough guess of what it's all worth. I told my grandma that I'd do the research for her and then let her know what kind of results I turn up.

Hate to break it to you but from reading the list it looks like they are only worth face value, like most stamps after the 1950s.

Hope something came of your efforts to appraise your collection. I felt bad looking at your list and figuring how much time it likely took you to create it, since, based on the "time cost of money" and the likely value of the stamps listed, the process already likely "cost" more than they're worth. Same as my collection, unfortunately...........

add up the face value, multiply by .70 or so, and there is your selling price.

Try 40% of face for unused US.
