Looks like my kind of collection.

I always liked Joe Carter and 84 Donruss so thats definitely one of my favorite cards. It also illustrates how poorly the Cubs were run during the 1980's.

Sweet 9's on the Molitor/Trammell, Winfield and Henderson.
Always looking for 1993-1999 Baseball Finest Refractors and1994 Football Finest Refractors.

Any unopened Baseball cello and rack packs and boxes from the 1970's and early 1980s.
  • That's a nicely centered Bird/Magic RC. One of my favorite cards around and so undervalued. I had to pick up an 8 because I couldn't find a high end 9 to save my life.

I agree. This card is so undervalued. I actually got a decent price on eBay. This one has a very tiny black line under the last N in Johnson....but nothing compared to most of the Printing issues....but I think it's the only thing keeping it from being a 10

Joe Carter #11 most overrated player. Here along with Garret.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am kind of surprised no one even mentioned the Gem Mint Elway which may be the most valuable in the lot (though the Payton and Bird/Magic are my 2 favorites by far)

Just to introduce myself, I have been a collector since I was 10 years old (I am about to turn 40). My peak time was the mid to late 80's as that's when I was a teenager and Card collecting meant the world to me. I got disgusted with the hobby when all the inserts and zillions of different sets started popping up so I stopped in the 90's. My interest is with cards from the 70's and 80's since that's what was always near and dear to my heart.

About 6 months ago I decided to revisit collecting and sell off a lot of my collection, send the nice cards in for grading, and start shopping for cards I love in high grade. I am active selling and purchasing on eBay and will continue to upgrade. I will update my top 15 as I go as that will change as I continue to make purchases
