ANA - Denver - 2012 - Who's Hosting the Auction ?

MFHMFH Posts: 11,720 ✭✭✭✭

I looked at Heritage's site and no, no ANA Denver Auction... their next auction is Long Beach.

Looked at Bowers/ Stacks and no, no auction either... their next auction is Phila ANA.

Who is hosting the Denver ANA Auction - is there one ?

It's a shame there was no auction, and also no on-site grading by PCGS/NGC. Those seem to be key ingredients these days for a successful coin show.

That being said, we had a good day today - better than I thought it was going to be. Two days to go.

Unfortunately, the timing of the Denver ANA convention was such that neither of the large auction houses felt able to hold an auction.

I was concerned about this going in, but we and a lot of other dealers I talked to thought the lack of distraction helped the business on the bourse floor.
