Toned Franklin - not your most common toned '58-D

Not the most usual toning, and some thought it would grade with PCGS, but I thought it would.
I purchased it in a PCI holder a few years back. Listening to others, I was tempted to crack it out and sell it for melt but I never did.
Recently, with the 1st quarter's CC quarterly special, I was going through some coins (raw/crossovers/etc) and I also had a modern voucher for 1 coin. I found this one again, thought about it for a couple of weeks (would it be worth it? If it was GEN'ed, it wouldn't be worth paying the postage on the single modern voucher and, if it were GEN'ed it wouldn't be worth it taking the place of a better coin in the CC Membership 8-coin voucher).
I finally decided to trust myself on this and I sent it in. It registered on 4/5. For the last week or two, I've been doing the "every 15 minute refresh and check".
Today, I go in for an "emergency root canal", as a tooth started acting up this weekend and I finally decided to get it checked out, so I was not around a PC nor online on my smartphone until this evening.
I check my email and get "Your grades are in" and "Your coins have shipped".
I go online and feared I had been wrong and others right.....and then *SMACK*...there it was. It graded. Not a high grade, but with that key hit in the focal area, I knew it wasn't a MS70
So, without futher boring writing, here is the trueview....

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

You can certainly get all those colors on a '58-D Franklin, it's just the splotchiness of the toning that makes me kind of wonder. Here's a '58-D of mine, and you'll see the colors are rather similar. I'm happy for you that you got a cross.

congrats...i like it
i'm biting nails with my 4-9 received date...i know what you're talking about...brutal anticipation
grade is ms63
i think they were a lil hard with grade on yours...bell lines looked fine enough too
MS63 was what was given.
Somewhat accurate as to in-hand.
I want to get it back and then look at it again compared to the photo.

Sorry about the root canal!
<< <i>What was the PCI grade? Nice coin for a ms63. >>
Good question...it's been awhile and I didn't have it in my notes, so I need to find the original tag somewhere in the home office. With a lot going on recently, including the tooth issue (thanks for the well wishes SeattleSlammer), it kind of got "lost" in things (I also just got back 8 coins from PCGS as well as 25 from stickerville at the same time last Saturday, switched work groups at work, and had 4 games/practices for my son's basketball this week, while the wife was out of town visiting family and I played "Mr Mom").
I am curious myself and will find that insert and see. I think it was MS63 and can't remember if it was FBL or not...I think the coin is FBL, as the picture shows....

Ok...found the old PCI green 14 digit label..... MS63 there as well.
So, They agreed on that, and i agree with the grade as well. I still think it is FBL, but, it is what it is.
