I got the sparkle back in my eye and a spring in my step.....anyone else? Tell us about it

At the beginning of the year I purchased a semi expensive coin and stated that I may not be buying anymore this year because I was kind of burnt out
and well lost my passion as I did not see anything become available that sparked my fire.

Sure I would buy here and there to sell but nothing really to purchase for myself.

Well, I ran into an opportunity to purchase some of the nicest tokens I have seen in a very long time.
And I think will be getting a few moreimage

My heart began pumping again, almost felt like a schoolgirl again on a first dateimageimage

They are being imaged right now and will post better images in a few days but I couldn't contain my shear joy and wanted to shareimage

Anyone else have a story?

Wow I'm really sad to see that our mutual friend had to part with these as I sold him the first 5 of 6 you posted image

Had I been contacted I would have bought them back too at 100% previous purchase price...

As these had been sold at a point in time when I was still able to part with my duplicates that I had upgraded image

I think our mutual friend will concur that he was paid well, very well........more than his 100% of his costimage
And for a very good reason.

lasvegasteddy, That wound is still unhealed as I do recall mentioning I'd like first shot at refusal should you ever what to part with it...

We both know that was the most amazing PCGS AU50 16-S and we'll never see another in that grade holder that even marginally comes close image

Congrats Stef on some remarkable pieces. Even though I have been a dealer for a decade and a half, it had been many years between having a collection as well as an inventory. I know exactly what you mean when you get those collecting juices flowing again. Awesome additions and welcome back to the crazy collecting world image

Great...nobody ever said that to me when I posted those image I'm the seller and it was what I needed to do to purchase a token that I feel is one of the nicest pieces (for me) that I have ever seen, I wont post it since I have not received it yet. Broadstruck has sold me many tokens (and a coin or two) over the years and have been some of the finest in my collection but when you see IT, ya gotta go for it.

    Good for you Stefanie!

And it sounds like LotsoLuck is pretty happy too.

Buyer and seller are both happy...buyer got her mojo back...what's not to like? image

I've gone thru a similar "burnout phase over the past few months. My passion level is still pretty low. May be quite a while before I get it back...

Great looking set of HTT's from a very turbulent period of U.S. financial history. Thanks for sharing with us.
