I'm just kind of speechless, especially when looking at the positive feedback.

All coins are crude as can be, especially the 55 DDO.

<< <i>You know, if eBay were interested in protecting potential buyers, they'd add notes to the seller's feedback log when an auction was cancelled due to being a counterfeit represented as an authentic item. >>
That would be a great idea. Or just simply posting an explanation of why their auctions were cancelled even if it didn't pertain to coins. At the same time eBay would loose business because people would be less interested in bidding on accounts with histories of these kind of issues..ultimately giving eBay less revenue.
Be ready, he has "got more items coming 777" to be exact
This coin should not fool anyone-yet someone bought it for $710 and left positive feedback?
Or this 1872 two cent piece?
Or this 1873 two cent piece?
Or this 1811 half cent?
All the above auctions received positive feedback. But really i guess- there is a sucker born every minute. These things never cease to amaze me at how gullible some people are. And when they go to sell them in a few years, they will get mad at all the dealers that tell them they are fake.
is no reason to be vulgur here IMO.
my first thought was that this person and some of his buddies probably made legit purchases of these fake items on each others accounts or the seller has more than one account and simply left pos FB to give confidence
i just can't bring myself to believe that many bad coins sold to collectors/dealers
really here nor there though as i am just venting at the daily frustration that people can't or don't want to find legitimate ways of doing business/making money
credit goes to thecoinlook for bringing these to our attention

Now tell me who is going to bid on it?
Lance.
Here is another one to report-1880 three cent nickel--Same seller-different ID? and yet another--1882 three cent nickel.
I think this is the same seller with a different ID--Same types of fakes-Same location
And then there's this:
Another fake, same manufacturer
So if you didn't get a chance to report the first one, report this one.

I note two things:
1. contact past buyers to let them know they were fakes
2. check past feedback and you can guess where he obtained the items.
