1969 Topps Football PSA 8's & 9's DIRT CHEAP!!!

If you ever thought about building this set, NOW IS THE TIME!! These are all at the 99 cent opener with only a couple of watchers per card! If they are going to get stolen from me, I would like them to go to a fellow collector as opposed to one of the big box stores just looking to flip them. Enjoy!

Looks like your Meredith is doing well..
  • You must do just fine on EBay with the 99 cent auction format, or you would not continue to sell your cards that way.

Not really. Some do fine (like the Meredith someone pointed out). Alot do poorly. I do the 99 cent auction because I am trying to stand out. With Ebay being overrun with high priced BIN's, I think the 99 cent auction is actually a rare thing to see nowadays.

I know i'll be bidding on the 69 jurgenson

When u r selling relatively common cards that are not scarce or in very hi grade u do run the risk of getting hit

with low bids. The meridith is low enough pop that it would do well at any starting $.

Nice to c cards not at 2x vcp bin

A little off topic here but I have a question about the 69 football cards. I don't know a lot about these cards. Why do some have white borders and others don't?

The only thing I say without looking it up. Series #1 had no borders and series #2 did.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • The PSA 6 Lamonica: Why a 6? Wax Stain anywhere? Creases/wrinkle? I see a little softness in the top corners.

any other insight on the card would be helpful?

    Thanks

John...the Lamonica looks undergraded. It is not a high dollar jump between the 6's and the 7's, but that is indeed one of the cars that I did a double take on when I saw it. It is the only '6' in my whole grouping, and in my opinion, looks better than some of the '7's that I listed!! If I crack it out and resub and it goes from a '6' to a '7', then it goes from an $8 card to a $15 card. I guess it just isn't worth it to me - but you are right, it is a REALLY good looking '6'!

....maybe they didn't like the white on the two bottom corners on the reverse?

    I wish! I predict a landing between $60-$80.
  • That would be great in my book!
