    Given that there were no 40% silver coins produced during this period (or any silver quarter sized planchets period, I doubt it.

    Well sure because its leftover from a bicentennial set. I have no idea how it got to philly from san francisco , but that would be special

    I would say it has to do with the reverse type, but I don't know much beyond A,B, and C. It does look a little b-ish to me, but I couldn't tell you if that reverse type made it to the 80's...

    I picked up a few of those right after they were given out in Long Beach last year from dealers who didn't seem to care about them. I promptly distributed them to some forum friends who I knew would better appreciate them image And of course kept one for myself image
  • Thats cool bummer it doesn't have a serial number you can't add it to your inventory online
