Star Jordan XRC advice

Seeing as how there is no VCP data on this card, at least none that I can find, can anyone with knowledge give me an idea on it's current market value? I have always wanted to add one to my collection and am thinking of a lower grade (BGS 6.5-7.5). I have been saving for a Mantle but for some reason the star Mike always turns my head. Any help would be appreciated.

I paid $1500 about two years ago for a full bulls team set all graded by bgs. The Jordan is a bgs 7.

Check completed listings on ebay. There are quite a few examples sold. A 6.5isg prob goes for about 1000-1400 imo. I've been eyeing the 6.5 on ebay now... But wasn't really ready to drop a g on a card.

Eagles, saw that one too but too rich for my blood. Its $1449 BIN and I have that cash earmarked for a nice Mantle. Tempting but may just put it high on my hit list at the National.

The jordan is the last HOF 80s nba rookie card that I need... Its also the most expensive. I did really well buying the other Star rookies raw and subbing them to bgs but there are way to many fake Jordans and would only buy one in a slab. I bought a raw 1983 wilkins and raw 83 Thomas that graded 9 and 9.5. Ill try to find the seller ids if you are interested... Not sure if they have other star cards available.. But at least you know they are originals.
