Thursday my 9 year old daughter turned an unassisted triple play! It was in kick ball at school, but I still thought it was pretty cool. We were sitting at the breakfast table this morning and she said, "Hey, daddy, guess what I did at school?" She didn't know that it was called an unassisted triply play. She was playing second base. She said, "A boy kicked the ball, and I caught it in the air, and the boy on first and the boy on second was still running, and I stepped on second base, and then I ran and stepped on first base both boys could get back."
I thought that was pretty neat!

Did anyone get the triple play on video? If so, get a copy and keep it in the family archives. Your daughter will get a big kick out of watching it now and for the rest of her life.

She was so lightin' quick that she didn't throw it at 'em. She stepped on 2 bases!
Come to think of it - that would hurt in baseball! Can you imagine throwing at 'em in baseball! Ouch!

our girls get a game of kickball going a few times per week in our front yard. They even get our 14 year old son to play with them and all of the neighbor kids. It's funny to watch them try and catch it when he's up.
