I remember them well - anyone else?
I'm a Floyd/Waters/Gilmour/Radiohead/Pumpkins fan, but they were always good on summer weekends.

Yes , i remember having my badge stolen off the hood of my vintage VW thanks to those bloody beastie boys ..me and thousands of others , it was an epidemic.A real shame , Adam was a young man with a family

Don't have a 1980s coin pic handy, but the B-Boys were one of my all-time favorites. I'll second the notion that it's yet another reminder of getting old.

I was fortunate enough to have met him through Russell Simmons (when launching Phat farm). What a great guy. I firmly believe they paved way for one of the greatest crossover movements in music along with a Tribe Called Quest. Living in NYC and Brooklyn during their hey day I've always felt very attached. BS, I saw them in Philly in 1998 I believe the same year my Wings beat the Flyers for the Cup which I also saw in the City of Brotherly Love

The writing was on the wall that he would lose his fight with cancer when he missed the Beasties induction into the Music Hall of Fame. Still a bitter pill to swallow. I believe Licensed to Ill was the top selling hip hop album of all time. Certainly the quickest to a million.

I listened to Paul's Boutique this morning and I have to say I was moved. What a significant sophomore release.

Rest in peace MCA..........No sleep till Brooklyn

Yahoo ran a great piece this morning. The videos and the history piece provided a blast down memory lane.
