....and state WHY you had it trueviewed....
For me, it is probably this merc dime that is now on the way home. Bought from a forum member 3 years ago. I bought it for the look. It was in NGC plastic.
I was sending in a submission and wanting to get in on the CC Quarterly special and grabbed this one to add to the list.
It went from NGC MS63 to PCGS MS64.
I sent it in to have the color captured. I like the coin a lot. It "pops". So, even though the $10 Trueview was almost the same price as the value of the coin ($15), I am ok with that.
I paid multiples for the coin when I bought it and I wouldn't sell it for what I have into it anyway....so, to me, it was worth TVing.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

If it grades where I think it grades, it'll be worth around $14 or so in the PCGS Guide, but it's pretty

When looking at a coin like this, the price guide has little use. The coin would clearly command a larger premium. I like it.
In response to your original post, I have, sadly, not had a coin True Viewed. I have, however, purchased two coins that came with a True View certificate.
78Saen - where's the story and the value?
Illini420....it should be any day now. Mine was sent on 3/31 and entered into the system 4/5. It just posted today (I have been checking ~20 / day since Monday).
I am missing 3 that I paid for trueview for (2 that didn't cross that I already paid for ahead of time, and 1 that I think/hope is just an oversight as it did cross but I can't find a trueview yet).
When you get yours, I expect it to be posted here with your story

Ok... finally got grades for my quarterly special trueview submission this morning!!!!! I previously posted about a Mercury Dime I sent in raw, thinking it would likely grade MS64, maybe MS65 (value of either $14 or $22 per PCGS Price Guide). The coin has awesome toning so I figured it was worth sending in despite the low guide price. I bought the coin off of one of the local coin shop's weekly bid boards for $11
Well, now that the grade is in, it doesn't really qualify for this thread anymore as it graded MS67!!!! WOW! Nice surprise and I guess I need to brush up my grading skills before that Long Beach grading competition, hahaha!!! Trueview should be in later today and I'll stilll post it here.

Followed closely by this MS63 1913 Type I Buffalo valued at $50 in the guide, I thought 65 before submitting, but think they got it right. Think it's fairly obvious why I TrueViewed it.
in the same boat as you illini420 with tru-views to be released soon as grades just posted
except i didn't score no 67...
one of mine was stupid on my behalf in a 56-d that ms63bn'd...with the hits and the color wasn't drop dead either...oh well i'm not perfect
the other....a 1958 tru-viewed that ended up as a 91...so it's right there with my 56-d on value...both show zero in price guide...lol
i live-i learn
will drop those 2 in here anyways
i take it a better route is to wait untill a coin has a grade then return them for tru-view???

yup
Empty Nest Collection
Matt’s Mattes
Pop 327 all grades
PCGS Price Guide $29.00
The Pop to Value on many coins sometimes just doesn`t compute to me.
I know it`s the demand issue, but...
PCGS Price Guide Value: $2
Top that!
It also happens to be the ONLY coin I have ever had TrueViewed.
<< <i>I wish we could pay for TrueViews on only part of a submission. Customer service told me it was all or nothing. >>
I only got them on 3 of 8 coins on my last order!

<< <i>Yes, now you can ask for TrueView photos on part of a submission. >>
My submission was with my 8 voucher, and it was received by PCGS the middle of February this year. Customer service told me then that I had to do all or nothing on the TrueViews. Nice to hear this policy has been changed. Some coins are too white to see much benefit, and some simply are not worth the extra $20 for TrueView.

Policy change? You've been able to select a coin or coins out of your order since last year at least when I got my first trueviews. Before summer of 2011. I learned about it on the forum about applying a sticker and labeling it trueview as well as on the submission form and including the fees to cover one coin or all coins being imaged since there was no information available on the website.
Good luck, would love to see some of your coins imaged.
