A final (custom) card for Moose Skowron

Bill Skowron didn't need my help with his baseball card legacy, but since Topps never made a card of him in his final uniform with the California Angels, I thought I'd create a career wrap-up card as it might have looked in 1968.

I had the pleasure of meeting Skowron a time or two at Chicago card shows, after Alan Rosen introduced him to the hobby.

Bob ... beautiful card ... but something just does not seem right with him in a uniform other than THE YANKEES.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

With his passing there is a hole in every Yankee fans heart. I wonder what he and Hank Bauer are doing!

Great looking card! Topps should be hiring you for a Fan Favorites (or similar) set! Their Fan Favorite sets have some neat alternate cards but too often they have used bad, blurry pics and with today's technology, I have no idea why. You seem to find pics that look great on your cards! Good job! I always enjoy these fantasy type cards.

Bob, you've done some incredible cards but this one might be the best. If you ever put together a print run of them in limited edition I'd certainly be first in line.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
