Missing Goodacre Presentation Dollars

For my fellow Sacagawea Collectors, we all know the story of the Goodacre Presentation Coins. More and more of these coins are being crossed over from their original holders to PCGS.
I recently acquired a Type 1 Goodacre Presentation Dollar. During my research into this coin, I reached out to ICG for additional background information on this rarity and they forwarded a treasure trove of info.
What I found very interesting, and did not previously know, was the following note in ICG's system regarding the original submission of Goodacre Presentation coins for encapsulation :
“Seven (7) coins are being returned to you without being encapsulated because they have fingerprints on them from the Mint. Missing numbers: 4966 to 4987”
I apologize to those of you who may already know this but I was not previously aware of this. I wonder what became of those seven coins??

Say it isn't so!!!
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
I don't know if I would call them missing. You might scare the owners of them.
I believe it's one that didn't receive the burnish, or much burnish. I returned one of my original coins to the distributor in Alabama because it didn't exhibit the burnish, only to learn later that there was a Type 1 and a Type 2.
I knew it would happen.

Both Type 1 and Type 2 coins received a pre-strike burnish; however, only the Type 2 has a post-strike burnish.
This is from smalldollars.com which has much more information:
<< <i>There are in fact two types of Goodacre Presentation Dollars. Both types were struck on planchets that had been burnished (prior to striking), struck with higher than normal die pressure from polished dies, and received special handling to reduce "bagmarks". The difference in the two types is that the Type 2 pieces also received a post-strike burnishing. >>
