For those going to The National this year, where are you staying hotel wise?

Would love to get any input as to what hotel you are staying at and why.

Thanks,
Eric

Hilton, its a couple years old (nice hotel) and I can use Hilton points, so it doesn't cost me anything.

  • I'm not a Baltimore expert, but I do head down a couple of times a year.

If you like to live a little on the large side, the Renaissance Hotel is about as good as it gets.
It's right across from the Inner Harbor area, but would require a short cab ride (about 5 blocks).
August is tough and will book quickly. Lots of people will do quick getaway trips to Baltimore because of the National Aquarium.
We go every year for my daughters birthday weekend and it's been hit and miss when using Expedia.

There is a Hilton very close to Camden Yards and Convention Center and would be less expensive.

    But look at the amenities.

It's the Hilton for me. The local Housing and Urban development set aside a number of rooms for convention-goers and I grabbed one a few months ago. It's connected to the Convention Center and will make it a very short walk to the showroom.
