Will this Teddy Ballgame find a new home?

I came across this outlier '52 Berk Ross Ted Williams in poor condition in my cards. I'm working on collecting '56 and '57 Topps sets, so thinking of selling it to replenish the coffers. There was 1 raw in completed listings on ebay, $252 but not creased like mine and better corners. I'm new to vintage and have no idea how to price it. Any thoughts on value?

When you are starting it at $50, a card that could only potentially sell for $75-$100, would not get nearly as many views as if you had started it at $.99
If you started it at $.99 you would get a lot more involvement and potentially some one who wouldn't do their research and might put a high last second bid in... I always do $.99 auctions, especially with a card that potentially won't finish much higher than that initial bid (if it even sells for that).

I'm relatively new around these here parts--is it safe to assume that you're suggesting I posted this in order to advertise a listing I have? Actually not the case, was curious to get opinions since, as I said, I'm pretty new to vintage collecting and learning on the go. Pretty sure anyone on here that's interested in buying a poor 52 BR TW is gonna find it on ebay in the next 7 days without the need for me to lead them there. But, if it were the case, is that against written or unwritten law around here? I'm not going to be selling much so doesn't matter to me, just honest curiousity don't shoot the new guy

Sorry but the new guy who is asking if his card will sell and just happens to add a link doesn't pass my smell test. Not the biggest deal but it's not something you should make a habit of. Better bet would have been putting a scan of the card up here and getting opinions on value, or what your best course of action would have been. That way it doesn't look like you are hawking your card.

Fair enough, but I did note "Sorry for link instead of image but .jpeg is on my home computer and I'm avoiding work". Now that I'm home, edited OP. Anyway, newbie lesson learned, carry on, and have a nice day

What sale? I said above I was THINKING about selling it
<< <i>I will say... Talked with wfubob about some stuff off CU and he is a super nice guy. I don't think there was any harm intended. Good fellow. >>
Thanks bro

Well that's good to know. I hope he sticks around for a longtime. He already figured out how to post a pic and a link. There are guys who have been here for years who haven't figured that out.

Then why would you list it on eBay if you were only thinking about selling it?

I was kidding, given my edited post to conform to the "unwritten rules". Geez. Apparent poor attempt at an ice breaker. OK, end of thread, moving on
