Happy b-day bud! But, I have to ask......you've been winning radio and other contests for years (you ARE the luckiest man I know, as far as contests go, and you know what I mean, I've seen some of your previous winnings.....then, not to mention the 'heavenly hammer' on that '53 RETF on TT last week, on a $30 rw ebay rip!!!)....does it surprise you that you won something else (does it surprise you at all when you win a contest, anymore, knowing your luck????....you have that 'horseshoe' firmly planted!!....lol....you've won more stuff than any person I have ever met!)? Granted, when rolling the dice with coins, it's a bit different, but with the right info at hand, look at the varieties you've pulled!! You are just one plain lucky man, Tom (we'll not mention the '64 AU Pr Type B fiasco, after all, noone can bat 1.000.....lol)!!! image

Kidding aside, congrats, and you DO suck..the luck you have, sometimes, man, it astounds me, some of the things you've won!!!!!

Have a really great 55th, Tom!!!
    I'll come up with something.

    Congrats!

First board member I can recall winning one of those!

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

imageimageimage What a great way to start your "55 " year! You should go out and celebrate by picking a 55 double-die! (if you don't possess one already)image

"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.

Thanks everyone for your replies, after living in calif for 15 yrs near L.A. and than moving to normal where 6 cars in a row is a traffic jam that and the college makes this town Normal. Ken Still to this day a win feels like the first time everytime for me. Its when you start to think you should win all the time that it becomes a problem.I also truly feel if you think lucky you will be lucky. Plus I do spend about equel time between coins and entering contest so you know I am putting in some hrs everyday and if you don't enter you have NO chance of winning. After winning the xterra in 2001, I realized out of 400 thousand entries they drew my name and from that point on I decided to at least get my name in the hat everytime and than let the luck fall into place. Selling the coin last week was not luck finding it was, but without 2 board members telling me 2 sell sell sell it would have ended up in the blue box next to all the Superbirds. It was really a good lesson, when hoarding a series one must unload at the right time or like me end up with 10 superbirds that I payed to much for. I hated sending that coin in to sell because of the time I spent looking for one and the fact is I collect that series. I did that with the birds when the price guide was at 1500 for 67 cameos now Its 800 and I still have them all. This is another reason I love this site, is the help from others really can pay off. Thanks again everyone and a Happy 55th B-day to mbogoman. Woohoooo B-day cake for all................ Enjoy tom image
