The estimate of 25K-35K is off IMO too. I would think it would go for at least 50K at auction. Especially with the way prices have been going.

If you take that uniform to Willie Mays, I'm sure he would be happy to ruin it with his "signature". Either that, or I'm sure Topps would like to cut it into tiny pieces and glue them onto baseball cards.

I wonder if the jersey was actually game worn. Wouldn't you think that a jersey that had been used the entire season would have tears that were repaired, stains, or other markings showing use?

It was not necessarily worn the entire season. Could have been a new uniform he received toward the end of the year.

Yeah, a full Mays uniform in that kind of condition has got to be worth more than $25-35k. Put me in the "about $50,000" boat as well.
