All PM's responded to. I added a link to my Gretzky master set to help indicate what I have and may be looking for. One that has eluded me is 89 opc #320 in psa 10.

pmcollectour, I do not have any Orr cards for trade, but do have interest in the 85 OPC 120, and wouldn't mind hearing the price on the 85 topps box bottom if you would like to pm it to me.

Nice cards Scarlem, I recognize a couple of those cert #'s from my past sets. The card that is I have been struggling to locate is actually the #320 this is a pop 15 in 10, but they rarely come up.

You can have the 85 opc psa 9 #120 for VCP, but I don't have VCP.

Here is the 1985 Topps PSA 9, which is one unbelieveably hard card to find. The 85 topps/opc and 87 opc box bottoms
will always be close to impossible to get mint, because of all the box fold issues. I've heard even the card restorers can't get
the folds out.





My trade price on both is about 1.5-2k. I know that sounds absolutely absurd. But I'm not really looking
for any takers, because parting with the cards means I can't replace them. Some Gretzky's can be replaced.
These can not.

Great stuff pm, picked up this box bottom last month at a show north of Boston as part of a full box, was shocked when I flipped it over, the Gretzky is the best of the panel, some surface scratches but no creasing. Bought the other card on ebay recently, both are very tough with highest grades of 8 on both.

Steve Hart just sold a full 87 topps wax case to an ebay seller called 1stclasscollection. He has been cutting them up and
selling some on ebay. 87 topps will probably be available for a short while. Get 'em while you can, right ??

The 87 opc's are a different story. The ones for sale by phibanjo on ebay are offset from the factory. If these were bought and cut
up, and submitted to PSA, they would come back MISCUT. There are only 10 or less panels I believe out in the collecting community
that "could" produce high grade 87 opc box bottoms. These were sold back in 1988 to collectors, that I have no idea how well they
took care of them over the years. They may have cut them up, got them autographed, or kept them pure. I have no idea, but what
I can tell you is that there are only 10 or less that were sold that "could of" stayed in Mint condition.

I will watch for quite some time to see how the 87's shake out in the future. I'm also very happy to know that the card restores
tried without success to get the box folds out of the cards. That makes it even more interesting. However, some cards do come
off boxes without folds. That's the good news.

I have two 87-88 OPC boxes (unopened), both with the Gretzky panel, and both have creases. I collect unopened boxes, and have a lot from BBCE, very rarely, if ever, do you see the bottoms without creases. Have to agree with you on this one - some cards can be replaced, those are definitely going to be extremely tough to replace!

The backs do not line up with the fronts. The fronts can be cut perfectly. The printing on the back though would be chopped off by
1/4 inch.

I have a very difficult 1993 Lakers Forum Wayne Gretzky PSA 8.
This is from a very limited, oversized "Tall boy" set that was given out at a Lakers game. They are black and prone to chipping and damage, in addition to being a very limited release that is rarely seen in high grade.
I can sell the PSA 8 Wayne Gretzky for $89 delivered.
