I like contests. I'd rather give away than participate....

So here is a May Contest: Answers must be received by noon on Tuesday May 1st. Nothing else will be accepted.

Pick the AL and NL leaders in AVG, HR's, RBI's. This will be cumulative through May. You will need to pick the player and team with actual numbers. Whoever is closest in all 6 categories wins! It's okay if you go over. Tie breaker if needed will be 1st place team for American and National league.

Also you can edit your numbers up until noon on May 1st.

    Using stats from June 2nd.... Looks like we have 5 guys with 2 names in the correct slot:

    Don't know how we are weighting the catagories but in the catagories where the names were correct the #s were off by the following:
    1980s coll 10 off & Correct tie break teams
    jimrad 11 off & Correct tie break teams
    rip in mass 25 off
    orioles 12 off, this could vary quite a bit as Konerko's avg was a correct pick, don't know what the # was 2 days ago?? The other 4 had Hamilton in HR & RBIs.

    Man, I have tried and tried to win one of your contests. This is so awesome.

    Thanks for always offering giveaways and contests.

    Being a Reds fan, Josh Hamilton and Votto are my two favorites and so glad I stuck with Hamilton even when he got hurt.

    I'm on the balcony of our condo in Myrtle Beach looking out at the ocean and my wife was like " Why are you so excited, what did you win? Don't fall off honey."
