Could be a legitimate clip, what does it look like 180 degrees away from that? Is it weak there also?

It has the right curvature for a clipped planchet, the only problem I'm having is the dentils are still strong in the clipped area...they should not be struck up as well as the adjacent ones.

Post a couple of full on images both obverse and reverse and hope Fred, our resident error specialist sees them.
