It's the weekend: Where's Wondercoin & RegistryCoin?

Mitch! Steve! Where are you guys? You've got to know, weekends on the Registry forum is not the same without you guys. And don't tell me family and/or work obligations are keeping you away. Come on!

Pat: Would you believe family did "interfere" with my coin fun this weekend! My brother, who has not been in CA for about 4 years since relocating to Iowa for his insurance job flew in yesterday for 6 days. I know things have been too darn quiet for you these past couple weeks. I have a good topic though that I will post shortly image Wondercoin.

Believe it or not, I've been babysitting. She's watching Elmo right now. We spent most of the evening opening the "shield" boxes, then opening the "holder", than taking out the "slab" to look at the "Oh boy, a coin!"...
I'm combining. She is just getting used to the computer, knows her letters, but bangs on it a bit too much for me. She just turned two in Feb.
I'm watching you guys, though. image
PS. I have no idea how to answer the "other half" of the question. Mitch and I talk once a week at best these days. But you see he's moving into commems, and other "non-modern's". I may have to give him a PM. image

It's good to hear from both of you. Tongue NOT in cheek- I miss it when you don't write in.
(-I'm looking forward to your topic.)

Enjoy the time with your families.

"Mitch and I talk once a week at best these days. But you see he's moving into commems, and other "non-modern's"."

Steve: Don't forget, "moderns" are "moving into", by themselves, "non-moderns image

We've seen silver Roosevelts now referred to as "classics". Pre-1965 Jeffersons as well. And, of course, silver quarters of late are being classified as "classics" often times, not to mention "wheat cents". So, it isn't totally that I am "moving into non-moderns" as we are just getting OLD image Wondercoin.

Yea. How come is that? Once I "retire" a set, it becomes "classic" and, afterwards, it moves up, dramatically, in value?

NOTHING all weekend, and then both show up within 5 minutes?? Coincidence, or not?

Tad: If you start fueling this up, I'm going to start talking about Goodacre Dollars in MS69 image Wondercoin.

And your guess for the # of MS69 quarters was?

    Ok, left-head's turn. image
  • a suggestion about the banging on the keys...
    I did this:
bought a cheap keyboard, cut off the cable and said here ya go. I must add, do support the learning process with the letters in the correct order as often as you are able. The alphabet does not start qwerty

Thanks, danarchy. I appreciate the idea, but she likes to watch me laugh while I'm on the forum. You know, "lol" stuff.
A dead keyboard just wouldn't be the same.
Tad: I don't know why I appreciate you, although I do. Mitch and I don't talk much these days, but we think much alike.
The timing of coming on-line within a few minutes of each other is only fate, unless, we "felt" a call from Pat. image

Aaagh! All this time, I never even considered the third possibility. image

LMAO....Supercoin you need to move south out of the frozen tundra...living up there you have way too much time on your hands.

I'm looking at 3" of newly-fallen snow out my window -- a move south is sounding pretty good. image
