His first card. Diamond Tampa Yankees. not super rare but rarer than the regular issues. currently 29 in psa 10, 97 in psa 9 out of 177 ever psa graded. The minor league, pre-rookie, police and local issues are what i collect from that era of 1980's to 1990 as only shot of any rareness from that era. plus they are earlier than the regular RC issues. fyi there's another on ebay in 10 now for $579 obo. I hope these have light shed on them when the psa encyclopedia comes out. When i show off my collection, i always get the surprised look of "i never knew that card existed". I have a thread on here where i posted some minor league and police stuff called did you know it existed. have a gander. This used to be called oddball stuff, but as the market adapts, and as many start going into the hof, hopefully the joy of the search for rarer stuff will prevail. If you ever get into this type of collecting, make sure to use the pop report. Great example is the 1990 Great Falls Pedro Martinez. Seems awesome as his first card but not rare! 878 in 9 and 528 in 10! My best guess is what happened was instead of trashing the unsold sets from the minor league ballpark, they got shelved and/or sold to a dealer(s) who immediately graded them. in contrast, the 1989 Salem Dodgers Piazza is a good one with currently only 60 in 9 and 35 in psa 10. A sense of raretiy exists! Even if those pop numbers double, it's still desirable numbers.

Most likely a team issue card and not from a major manuf.
It would be a pre rc and not his rc.
Psa recognizes his 92 bow
