PSA and SGC

How close is an SCG 60 that says 5 to a PSA 5. Why do collectors prefer prewar cards in SGC. I collect coins and its the same thing between their parent companies PCGS and NGC. Anyone have much success crossing into the other company. With coins, you can try to cross them in the holders and out of the holders. I believe you stand a better chance out of the holders if you are trying for an upgrade. It shouldn't be like this but it is.
Are the number grades on SGC considered the same as PSA with the major collectors?

Thanks

I believe there are more pre-war cards in PSA holders then SGC.
I think more collectors stay away from SGC rather then stay away from PSA.
PSA has the bigger market share as of now, and I don't see anything on the horizon that will change that.

Yes, pre-war cards in SGC holders do sell for a nice penny, as they should.
I do not see a problem with using either service, as their grading system is somewhat similar.

Thanks, both holders have nice cards.
