Early 1980's PSA subs ... Worth it?

With many of the early 80's sets having such a high pop for stars - ie, 83F Boggs with 223 10's - is it even worth submitting stars anymore? Are you better off submitting guys who have no 10's, or are there just no 10's because no one cares about early 80's wax enough to bother?
Just interested in hearing opinions from those more well versed in the PSA world than myself.

Here's the problem that I've been having ...
I submit a lot of '72-'76 cards as well as '80-'86 Topps. Grading consistency for the '70's seems to have been very stable for me
over the years. For the most part, if I'm expecting an 8/9, I get an 8/9. Some upside, and some downside, surprises.
BUT, for the '80s, I used to have over a 50% hit ratio for 10's as I am super picky. I'm still just as picky, but that hit ratio has dropped
to around 25%. In conclusion, I need glasses or PSA is just getting tougher. I like to think it's the latter
I still think the stud '80s HOFs are undervalued. Hopefully, as Vintage and '70's go higher, you'll get a natural progression of folks
that move towards the cheaper 10's and have the theory "quantity is quality".
I'm still amazed that the '82 Ripken Topps Traded has been fetching $1500 with a pop over 100 (have not checked lately).
You can actually pick upsome HOF's from early Fleer/Donruss for under $10.
