Brought a very nice SGC 88 OPC gretzky to the LI show today and since Beckett was doing graded reviews at the show, I threw $10 at them for giggles. Not a big fan of Beckett, but they were there, so...



I guess it was worth the drive in the rain.

Congrats! Might be one of the few that they have in anything above an 8 that has an original OPC cut...

Will PSA do the same for Beckett graded cards - meaning will they cross over If I mail something to them or does it need to be out of the beckett case? Just curious now.

I'm not familiar with that hand written card they have in there. Do you now have to send it in to them and pay for it to be slabbed?

Yes. I got back too late to just hand it back to them as an order to take back to be slabbed, so now i have to mail it in for a slab.

I know it's not the greatest scan but i'm surprised it would bump. The top right and bottom right look touched to much for a 8.5. I also agree that i would rather have it in a SGC holder then a BVG holder. If you are planning on selling it you might get a little more in the BVG 8.5 because it does have nice centering and it does have the OPC rough cut. People will notice the OPC rough cut instead of some of the sheet cut cards. But again i am surprised it bumped. Unless that is extra card stock that makes those 2 corners look white, i would not of bumped the card.
