I just bought this a few days ago..

1812 ZACATECAS Mexico - war of independance 8 Reales - either KM#191 or KM#192 - I am not good with these types.

It appears to be KM#191. I don't think i've ever seen that weird lamination before. What's the weight / edge on that one?

Weight: 25.6g

Edge: Plain - just rough silver.

The planchet the coin was struck on appears to be hammered silver- not rolled.

Pradeu lists $4,776,971.50 pesos of silver coined for the period from September 3, 1811 to March 26, 1813. I don't have information on how much of each silver denomination was coined, though 4 Reales were not minted in those early years of the mint.
