Mine was a combination of Reggie Jackson and Pete Rose.
I tried a Rod Carew/George Brett like stance, but it didn't work for me.

For a single, it was Rod Carew's,
For a double, I used Doug Decinces',
For a triple, I used Willie McGee's,
And for a homer, I used Brian Downing's.
That was when I was in T-ball.
When I was older, I made the drastic move from using Downing's to Jerome Walton's.

<< <i>Aaron Rowand copied mine, actually. See where that got him! >>
I was planning an Aaron Rowand reference but you beat me to it...
Any kid who copies the Aaron Rowand batting stance is either trying to lay one in the batter's box or asking his teammates for a wedgie in the dugout.

I tried to do everything like Rickey Henderson.
When I got older and became a great hitter...Paul Molitor decided he wanted to hit like me.

Growing up in LA we always did the Steve Garvey, straight posture, upper cut swing;
Switch to the left, choke up, crouch and do a little Rod Carew;
Joe Morgan/Willie Stargell bat angle;
Mickey Rivers bat movement;
Reggie Jackson swing for the fences;
