FSHO: 1911-S/S Lincoln Cent RPM FS-501 PCGS MS64RB Top Pop for Variety! None graded higher!

For sale here only is a pretty tough early Lincoln variety. Though my pics really don't show the RPM well, it's a match to the FS-501 which is imaged in the Cherrypicker's Guide and the variety has been confirmed and attributed by PCGS. I've included a close up photo of the RPM from a PCGS MS64BN example I used to own. This MS64RB is the highest grade of this variety attributed to date so you can't get any higher if you need this one for your Registry set. It is listed in CoinFacts as a Pop 5 coin with none graded higher!!! Moreover, the variety is seemingly rare with the total population of this variety in all grades being less than 15 coins!!! (CoinFacts shows 4 in XF40, 2 in 64BN, 3 in 63RB, 5 in 64RB, none higher in RB and none at all in RD). This example is nearly full red, maybe 95% red, has very nice luster and has a decent strike. The coin does show slight discoloration/dirtiness, espeicially on the obverse and what looks to be a faint fingerprint in the left obverse field. The reverse of the coin is great with a really nice nearly full red color and no major distractions.
Anyways, thought I'd offer it here on the forum first before I try eBay... $1000 shipped
Please contact me with your questions or comments. Thanks!
