Los Angeles (Glendale) show this weekend

There will be a show this weekend at the Civic Auditorium (1401 North Verdugo Road) in Glendale California. Hours are Friday 1-7, Saturday 10-6, Sunday 10-4.

I'm in...I'll be wearing a Torii Hunter All Star T-Shirt and my 3 year old son will be with me. We are going to get there early, like when it opens.

Take some pics, and show some stuff if you pick up any. I wish there were shows here in SC. The closest are Charlotte and Atlanta. There are a few shows 2.5 hours away in SC, but have like 30-40 tables.

Maybe need to put one together here in Charleston...

Ya, same here in San Antonio. A base of 1.7 million people and no shows worth going to. I think we have one guy who has been doing 1-2 shows a year for the last 15 years. It has never grown to anything big. I got the national on my bucket list.

Some decent commons and good NM 50's-60's. Not very much hockey/basketball. The best stuff was the auction preview stuff that pdub posted about. i spent $40 and got out of there. Gouging $6 for parking at a place in Glendale seemed kind of ridiculous.

I also found a white whale but couldn't afford it. One dealer had a 64 NBA ASG Program. It's a famous game because of the players sitting out until owners recognized the union but the cover was also signed by Walter Brown (legendary Celtics founder/owner). Oh well, maybe next time.

you were there? I was set up at the 2nd table in, was looking for someone wearing Celtics stuff. Should've been easy to spot, there were more sellers than buyers the entire day.

I was there from about 4-5. White Celtics hat. I didn't know you were setting up. I thought you were walking around buying. I should have PM'd you. Oh well. Next time. Seems like they do this every 5-6 months now...thankfully because I miss the Hollywood show and can't go look at the same stuff at Frank and Son every week!
