Got a neat Coach Lou Holtz autographed pullover today

Got an email from the ND Alumni Club of Dallas two days ago notifiying me that Coach Holtz was going to be inducted into the Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame today at Cowboys Stadium so to come out and support him. I thought it would be a good chance to get my Notre Dame legends helmet signed by him so I took it with me. As I've learned from many years of graphing, always have a backup plan as well, so I took my Notre Dame pullover as well. When I got there, I made it past two waves of security with my helmet, but the third wave was enforcing the "no memoribilia" aspect, so they made me go back to my car to put the hlelmet up. I then retrieved my Notre Dame pullover and slipped it on over my business clothes in the Texas heat. As expected, that got me through security as they wouldn't tell me to take off my clothes, LOL. Once inside, I was able to take it off without having to endure the heat for the whole speech. It was a cornucopia of college football coaches and stars. I saw and met again Coach Holtz, former Heisman winner Tim Brown, Frank Broyles from Arkansas, and I also saw but chose not to meet them as I really don't care for them, Jackie Sherrill, RC Slocum, Russell Maryland, Dat Nguyen, and the other HOF inductees (don't even remember their names, LOL, some dudes from Texas A&M, Arkansas, Texas and BYU. All in all it was pretty cool. I'm excited about the signed Holtz pullover as it's like the ones he used to wear on the sidelines a good percentage of the time, kind of like a jersey for a player.

I agree with you to a degree but whomever is paying the bills gets to make the rules. I just like knowing about the rules in advance so I can choose whether or not I want to go or come up with a good plan to defy them, lol. In this case I either didn't see the rules posted on the website in advance or they werent posted.

That's one benefit of my signed rookie card collection in that I can typically fit a trading card in my pocketnfor almost any occasion. I already have a couple of Lou signed rookies so I would have loved to get my helmet done
