Picked up a 1967 Roger Maris

Now I have this one and a 1968 Maris which I got graded and came back an 8.5. This 7 I got for a steal compared to the $55 price tag they've been selling on eBay. I picked up some more stuff but nothing that would really interest anyone on here. I LOVE Maris and I plan to pick up his 1961 card PSA 8 before the year ends. Not that its a major white whale but its my white whale, especially since I just finished remodeling my house and Im pretty much tapped out for the next few months
I got this one at the card show the weekend before last. I dunno if its just my area but it seems kinda dead. The big turn outs are usually every quarter when JSA and Beckett come around - Not that I'm complaining because then I get sweet deals like I did on this Maris just so the dealers will break table. Whats interesting about this card is that I read once that Topps back in the day would make players take TWO photos - one with there hats on and the other with it off. That way in case they got traded, they can use the photo without there hat on. Maris in this one was already with the Cardinals by the time the cards got printed but hes clearly seen with his famous pin strips and the beloved old Yankee stadium in the background.
