    Actually, I think having China control such a huge amount of US government debt is nothing to smile about. That's the real crisis in the making.

    Actually we aint even close.

    In 20 years enttitlement programs expenses will begin to decline. This will coinicide with the massive adoption of natural gas energy. The savings will be in the Trillions every year. And the US will be an energy exporter.

    No other country in the world, save Canada or Russia, has the natural resources for the future.

    But im getting off topic.


    Why does everyone quote the "so-called" experts who say foreigners are dumping our debt?

    China's M2 went up 13% last year. They can't buy enough commodities and PM's without upsetting markets and jacking prices way up. So they buy some
    TBonds along the way to keep Tim Geither happy.
