Hanging out with Cincyredlegs, beach day! :) more than just a sportscard forum...

I have to admit over last several months, it's more than just PM's. I have really made some good friends. Mark being one of them. I called him up this morning and we planned a beach day with his girls and my kids.

Nothing like watching your kids play at the beach and being able to talk cards with someone that gets the industry. Last time we went mini golfing, that I picked up, this time he picked up ice cream for everyone after a great beach day!

Thanks buddy, had a blast, I'm glad we've become good friends. I guess my point is, if someone on here lives close by to you, go meet them. Who knows you might hit it off. The reality is, for what we are so passionate it about(cards), most people don't get it. So it's really great hang with people that do....

Happy Sunday!! image

Edit: I hear from time to time say it's just a sportscard forum. Well yes it is, but we as a group do so much more. People help each other with support. Emotionally, Financially, finishing sets, collecting players and teams. Great things happen here, I know we say it, but it's just good to remember. That's why when there's a troll or Alt some take it more seriously than others.

Anyway just want to say this place is great, and full of great people. Probably like a lot of you, but can't imagine life, honestly without this place.

Okay you had me at "Hello how are you", lol...

Great that you and Mark can get together from time to time. I'm not sure if I can attend the Charlotte show in a few weeks.

Good times were had today Mike by everyone especially the kids. My kids are exhauted and already in bed.

Fellas it was a nice day to be at the beach......83 degrees, sunny and no clouds in the sky.

Mike's right about meeting people on the boards. Just think, if I hadn't met Mike, I wouldn't be going over to his house on Tuesday to rip National Treasures boxes. image

Yeah my oldest girl got a nice little burn. The cool air made the sun a little deceiving today.

I wish I could have gotten to the beach today. I was home doing tax returns. image

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
