1988-89 Chicago Bulls signed team ball. NEED HELP WITH VALUE

I'm thinking very hard about selling this great piece of memorabilia that I have owned since 1989. My dad worked with a guy who worked as a parking lot attendant for the players at the Old Chicago Stadium. He told my dad if I wanted a signed basketball of all the Chicago Bulls then buy a basketball and bring it to work and he'll get it signed. I have the ball signed by the entire team except for assistant coach Tex Winter. I'm not sure what the value of the ball truly is. Even though this is not a championship season it has almost all the key players from those early champion Bull teams. I'm thinking between 2K-3K?

Here's who signed the ball.

Players
Michael Jordan
John Paxton
Brad Sellers
Craig Hodges
Dave Corzine
Will Perdue
Bill Cartwright
Jack Haley
Scottie Pippen
Sam Vincient
Charles Davis
Horace Grant

Coaches
Doug Collins -HC
Phil Jackson -AC
Johnny Bauch-AC

I would get it PSA/DNA and you would get the 2k+ in my opinion.

What would it cost to get it authenticated?

Should I just reach out to an auction house to determine value? I will be getting this authenticated before I sell.

  • Here's one similar that sold at a small auction house just yesterday. It sold for far, far less than I thought it would.

Yes, I would just get it authenticated by PSA and then go with an auction house that has good results with memorabilia.

As far as the one that sold below for $450.00 that was authenticated by GAI.

The sigs look weak, not even sure MJ signed on the ball.

I would give you 450.00 in a second for your ball. I believe 100% percent your ball is real and will bring much more than $450.00 (like $1500.00 if I had to guess).

    That is just my opinion.
