If I wanted to start collecting coins from the days of Julius Caesar, Mark Antony, and Jesus Christ, where would I go?

You can also find these coins on ebay-- just use "widow's mite" "lepton" or "marc anthony denar*" as search words. The Judean bronze coins (like the 'widow's mites) are on ebay aplenty. A legionarry denarii or denarious of Marc Anthony can also be found and bought without much trouble (unless you're looking for super high grade). Coins of Julius Caesar can also be found, but will be a good deal more expensive and harder to find-- the elephant head/sacrificicial implement denarii of Julius Ceasar is the easiest to find and most affordable.

I do also enjoy collecting elephant and rhino coins but these 2,000 year oldies might be fun for my waning years.

Don't know about Rhinos but there is a Julius Caesar silver Denarius that has a large Elephant on it. It's one of my favorites.
