eBay question

I sold a $10 autograph. Sent to the PP unconfirmed address (it was PO box). Delivered on 3/15. I get it back on unopened and with delivery address covered up on 4/8. Checked the DC and it says VACANT, returned to sender. Doesn't actually say delivered back to sender, just that it was returned to sender.
How can I protect myself from getting my first neg?
I kind of want to keep the autograph now that its back to me. I am fine with refunding the money, but I dont want to get a neg feedback if they claim I never intended to sell it. How can I protect myself from the neg? Request to cancel the eBay sale and send refund, or do I just have to contact them for a better working address?
In the mean time, they are buying more ebay items and recieving and leaving feedback.
Looking to have some custom cuts or plain custom cards built? PM me.

Dont fret about negs....they will eventually come...its like a badge of honor on ebay to get negged by a dolt

Also, never send to an unconfirmed address...PERIOD!!
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

Probably no way you can guarantee that you wont get a neg.

Contact buyer and explain what has happened and ask him/her what they want to do, then abide by their wishes and hope for the best.

Can I ask them to send money to cover a second shipping cost?
